Workflow comparison

Structured creative research vs a folder of saved posts.

The useful comparison is how the work stays understandable as it changes.

A workflow comparison, not a tested performance claim. ReelsData is in development. No time savings, cost reduction or available automation is implied.

What the manual process does well

A document, spreadsheet and shared folder can be a sensible starting point. The team can change the structure quickly and use tools it already understands. A small, well-run manual process does not need to be replaced merely because another interface exists. The important question is whether the current handoff keeps the source, the decision and the limits easy to recover.

Where the handoff can become fragile

A saved post can lose its observation date, baseline and reason for inclusion. A report can inherit a screenshot without the context needed to interpret it. An observation log and a consistent brief structure address part of that problem before any automated reporting service is considered.

What the proposed workflow would organize

The product concept keeps the reference set, source observations, baseline and research brief connected. A pilot would test whether that structure supports a useful recurring client deliverable under agreed source and coverage limits. It is not a claim that live account connections or automated client delivery are available today.

Choose based on the recurring job

Keep the manual process if it is clear, bounded and easy for the next person to use. Consider a pilot discussion when the same context is repeatedly lost or the team cannot reconstruct its decisions. Agree an observable review criterion before committing. This comparison contains no measured time savings, cost reduction or promise that a new workflow will outperform the tools you already use.
